Over the past few nights, I've been building a simple work table. The garage is almost finished, there was leftover wood from the construction, and I want to move the building activities out there and need a table.

The design is loosely based on the standard EAA worktable, except I used about half the wood, and made all the joints half-laps which got glued and screwed so it's also stronger.

For those playing along at home, the top is exactly 2'x4' and will receive a 3/4" MDF top when I get around to buying one. The shelf will get a scrap of 1/2" plywood that I found in our basement when we moved in. In this picture, I still need to add the bottom stretchers (and obviously the top and shelf...)
