We had a warmish day where it made it up to the mid 40s so I finally put the spray booth and my Harbor Freight HVLP spray gun to the test. I set a space heater up in the booth to try and heat it up and kept the primer in the house to keep it warm. It was a mess mixing it up and getting it into the gun but I eventually got that done. The cold weather and the terrible spray booth made everything hard, and my skill with the gun was non-existent so the results weren't that great...
Fortunately, nobody is judging a plane by its internal primer coverage, so I got that going for me, which is nice. I got it done, and there are some spots that I missed or rubbed off the primer so I might hit it with a spray can later.
