It's still cold out there in the garage (27 degrees) but I got out there and did made some progress anyway. I started riveting the nutplates to the spar and got through all of the left wing and the bottom half of the right wing.

Here is the lower side of the left spar after setting the nut plate rivets and cleaning up the primer from the countersinks.

Nothing about the nutplates is difficult, it just takes a long time because there are so many. Placing clecos takes some time, adding the nut plate to the cleco takes time, aligning the nut plate takes time, putting a rivet in the first hole takes time, setting the rivet takes time, removing the cleco takes time, placing the second rivet takes time, setting the second rivet takes time, all made more difficult by cold fingers...
