I finished the aluminum push tubes by getting their threaded ends, drilled and riveted in place, which took a fair bit of time.

When that was done, I moved on to working on the bell cranks. These needed a ton of work to get the brass bushings, which go inside the bell cranks, to fit. It needs to be smooth and fluid like a bearing but these didn't even fit inside the sleeve so I had to do all sorts of reaming and filing and sanding of various cranks and bushings before I finally got them working like they need to.

After that frustration, I futzed about for literal hours trying to get the aileron control systems all installed. I ended up having to take the ailerons off the wing so I could get the bearing ends and washers, spacers, and bolts all sorted out and torqued down. In the end, I still didn't get it done. I ended defeated and so frustrated!
