Good progress tonight -- I motored through riveting the right horizontal stabilizer skin to the front spar and main rib, both on the top and bottom sides! I also had Joe out there to help me put some rivets in a few holes before I set them. We only did about 5 before dinner but I think he liked it!With Joe's help, I got these three blinds rivets set.
The right tip rib is attached to the front spar, and all the front spar-to-skin rivets are set, too!
It's looking like a piece of an airplane! Next is to slide the rear spar in and then squeeze the rivets all around the edges. Lots of rivets but none will have to be driven so it should go quickly. I'd like to think I'll get it done and have the first finished part of the plane at the end of the next work session!
