Picking up where I left off, I beveled the counterbalance skin where the rudder skins overlap it. The instructions say to "locally bevel", whatever that means, so I searched VAF to see what other people did. They just beveled the counterbalance skin where spar or rib runs underneath it. Makes sense to me so that's what I did, too.

I then dimpled the second rudder skin that I didn't get too last time out. Easy peasy.

Final bits on the rudder before priming and riveting will be fitting the counterbalance weight to the rib, and countersinking both sides of the trailing edge wedge so it can eventually get double-flush riveted.
