Made some good progress today on the elevators. It was back-riveting day which is always nice because it goes quickly and turns out nicely. I started by riveting on the nut plates to the trim motor stiffener. I reached all of these with the squeezer.

This is a neat part. It's a different color because I forgot to prime it with the others so I hit it with the rattle can of self-etching primer.

Then I back-riveted the stiffeners onto the left elevator...

...and the right elevator.

I tried to continue working by bending the trailing edges of the elevators. I bought a little pine board but it was too thin, too warped, and too short to do the job, so it didn't get done.

I need to get an 8 foot long 2x6 or 2x8 board that I can cut into two 4-footers and then use that as my bending brake, but that will be a job for later.
