Had a quick bit of time this morning to get some riveting done! I got the brackets for the elevators on the HS rear spars with just some quick time on the rivet squeezer.

Side note, I 3d-printed a block to hold clecos upright for one-handed grabbing and setting down. It works great! I designed it in about 15 minutes and it printed in 6 hours. Additional note, I bought empty pill bottles to store rivets in and in theory, it works great. It falls (literally) short in practice, however, as the bottles are so narrow that they tip over incredibly easily. Not a huge deal, but it happened like four times as I was rummaging in there trying to get rivets out. In my last endeavor, I found some little storage containers that were almost cubes. I can't remember where (maybe Harbor Freight?) but I will try to find some of those again.

Inside brackets attached.

Outer brackets and spar doubler attached!

Next step will be riveting the front spars, skeleton bits, and skins!

I found a guy locally selling a DRDT-2 dimpler and a pneumatic squeezer so I'm doing my best to upgrade with those luxury items. Stay tuned to see if that happens!
